Training Courses Back
To bring out qualitative improvement in knowledge and provide update on the latest techniques NRCG conducts the following training courses for extension and development officials in June, October and March every year:

NRCG participates in integrated training programmes, one each in four divisions of Maharashtra after April and October pruning in collaboration with ‘Grape Growers Association of Maharashtra’, and for growers in Andhra Pradesh in collaboration with APEDA and Grape Growers Association of Andhra Pradesh and the Andhra Pradesh department of horticulture besides the growers' association of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and their State Department of Horticulture. Major grape growing states i.e. Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu approach this Centre to train their extension staff and progressive grape growers in respective states.

Pure and genuine rootstocks and major commercial varieties are raised in a nursery for sale to the growers at reasonable cost. Dogridge rootstock @ Rs. 5/- per plant of 7-8 month age is available at the nursery. The needy persons are requested to book their demand by paying 50% advance in the form of DD payable to ICAR unit, NRC for Grapes, Pune Payable at Pune.
